Cold Storage
We operate a cold storage facility in the western Sydney suburb of Prestons that opened in May 2023.
Our offering focuses on food manufacturers and primary producers, who operate in the foodservice market. By combining our existing transport services with our cold storage facility, we strive to provide an end-to-end cold chain solution to the foodservice industry in the Sydney metropolitan and NSW regional market.
Location
Our temperature controlled facility is located in Prestons, in the western suburbs of Sydney. This is a strategic location being on the juncture of the M7 and M5, allowing quick transit times from Port Botany and to metropolitan Sydney and regional New South Wales.
It is also a convenient location for cross-docking our customers freight that may be arriving from Victoria, Brisbane, South Australia and Tasmania.
Our Services

We will have capacity for:
2,352 pallets of frozen (-20 degrees),
216 pallets of chill (0 to 4 degress) and
216 pallets of ambient temperature storage space.

We will provide a container unload, palletisation and put-away service. We will also facilitate inspections by regulatory authorities as required.

We will be capable of providing a quick-turn, SKU intensive picking service in addition to pallet in, pallet out handling.

We will be able to cross-dock freight arriving on both our own and other transport companies, providing an efficient on-forwarding solution, particularly where we are the last mile transport company.

We can implement a range of reporting to help you manage your supply chain. We can also assist with stocktakes as required.
Quality and risk management
We are committed to safe, compliant & efficient warehousing and transportation operations. You can be confident that your products will be handled at least as good as, if not better than you would handle them through every stage of the cold chain and delivery process. We will be accredited for every stage of the cold-chain process and will hold the following licences and certifications prior to opening:

Solar Energy Output
Our 99 kW solar system, will have 198 panels on our roof, producing 138,000 kWh per year and saving 120,000 kg in CO2 emissions per year.
Container unloads
We estimate that we will be unloading approximately 250 containers per year.
Quick stats
EDI
We will be able to receive orders and other data via EDI, providing efficiencies for both us and our customer. Of course, we will be able to process the old-fashioned way as well.
Stock movement report
You can run a stock movement report so you can see each individual transaction that happened for a product over a given period of time;
This provides increased transparency of the movement of your inventory;
Available to you and your team online, the information is updated in real time.
Warehouse stock report
You can run a warehouse stock report so you can see the inventory that you have available at any given time;
We can configure the report so it provides you with the key information you need. E.g. date of manufacture, best before dates and batch numbers.

Technology and reporting
We will be utilising the Carton Cloud Warehouse Management System (WMS), to manage our new facility. They are regarded as one of Australia’s leading logistics technology providers.
